What Are Shoji Doors?
|
Shoji doors are Japanese or Asian style doors with rice paper instead of glass or wood panels. They are generally designed in small panes of rice paper, many with wood framing. They are a type of sliding doors that are usually lightweight depending on the materials used and are easily installed. They are perfect for a closet, utility room or used as a room divider. They come in many different dimensions and their prices run the gambit. Many people are using these as replacement to their sliding closet doors and room dividers.
Most all shoji doors come in a kit that includes the top and bottom track along with the side jambs.
